Prof. Enzo Baccarelli received the Laurea degree (summa cum laude) in ''Electronic Engineering'' and Ph.D. degree in ''Information and Communication Engineering'' from the University ''La Sapienza'' of Rome (Italy) in 1989 and 1992, respectively. 

In 1995 he received the Post-Ph.D. degree in ''Information and Communication Engineering'' from INFOCOM Dpt. of the University ''La Sapienza'' where he also served as Assistant Professor from 1996 to 1998.

From 1998 to 2004 he was an Associate Professor in Signal Processing and Radio Communications at the University ''La Sapienza''. 

Since 2004 he is Full Professor in Telecommunication Engineering at the DIET Dpt. of University ''La Sapienza'' of Rome.  

From 2004 to 2007 he was scientific coordinator for the research unit of Rome within the national project NEWINTERNET.

From 2005 to 2006 he was scientific coordinator of the MIUR projects PRIMA ALBA and IRON (2007).

From 2004 to 2006 he was responsible of a sub-contract within the European project IST-DELIS.

From 2006 to 2007 he was national coordinator of PRIN2005 project WOMEN and from 2007 to 2009 of PRIN2007 project WORLD.

Since December 2010 he is dean of the Educational Board at the faculty of Information Engineering Informatic and Statistic.

Since January 2011 he is member of the Educational Board of ''Sapienza'' University of Rome.

From 2005 to 2010 he served as Associate Editor for IEEE Communications Letters.

He is listed by ''Who's Who European Encyclopaedia'' and also by ''The contemporary Who's Who''
